For years, Keeley Hawes fans have joined forces to help different charities. From UNICEF to animal rescue centres, we all think it’s important to follow her steps.

Following the tradition, for Keeley’s 49th Birthday we decided to help a cause that is very close to her heart. This year, Keeley Hawes News and All Things Hawes are raising money for The Feathers Association, a charity that provides opportunities for children, young people and communities to develop in a positive way through informal education, sporting, cultural and recreational activities since 1934.

The Feathers Association played a very important role in Keeley’s life: “It was hugely important to me as a child growing up in central London in a big family. I lived in social housing, we didn’t have lots of holidays and that type of thing. When the summer holidays were coming up, there would be little lists and you would add your name to the day trips or the weekend trips to the countryside, and the sheer thrill of being part of that was kind of magical. So it was really lovely to be part of that community of the Feathers,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in June, when she was announced as an amabassador for the charity and attended their ball.
