Matthew Macfadyen talked about Keeley Hawes on the latest episode of the Dish Podcast.

Matthew Macfadyen joined Broadcaster Nick Grimshaw and Michelin star chef and restaurateur Angela Hartnett on their weekly dinner party to chat about food and his cooking skills.

Matthew told them he visited his wife in Athens while she was filming Amazon Prime’s upcoming thriller The Assassin: “I went to see my missus. She’s working in Athens or she’s just finished, so I went to see her.”

He also expressed concern about her peculiar sandwich choices: “So Keeley’s favourite filling of a sandwich. This is just to ask your opinion about this. An advice like why she likes it. But it’s like cheap white bread, toasted with butter, roast chicken, cream cheese, iceberg lettuce, Branston, mayo and salt. […] I just wanted to throw it out there just because it’s been worrying me.”
